Functional Lab Testing
I have specialist training in interpreting a wide range of functional tests such as the DUTCH test (for sex and stress hormones), Stool analysis (for gut, immune and hormone concerns) and nutritional biomarkers and blood panels to name a few.
Functional lab reference ranges look at a smaller, tighter range and anything outside of that is suboptimal. With these tighter ranges anything trending in the wrong direction can be caught early on, before a diagnosable disease state occurs. This provides an opportunity to address any underlying imbalances and restore normal physiology, ideally before it gets to a pathological disease state.
Please keep in mind: as a functional nutritionist, I am NOT a doctor. I do not make medical diagnoses. While I can work collaboratively with you and your other practitioners, functional nutrition is not a replacement for conventional medicine.
